Prince Phillip captured by Maleficent - Goons' POV
As requested by a very loyal watcher, here is my try at a telling of this infamous scene through the lens of the goons. Diablo guided them to the cottage in the glade, where the Princess had been hiding for 16 years. They had visited on another occasion to find a girl with three peasant women, she couldn't have been more than ten years at the time, but there was no cradle to be found and no baby Princess to take back to Maleficent. They had been scolded mightily for their failings, for sixteen years of searching for a baby. The site of the cottage drawing near made them feel anxious, a reminder - nay, a promise of the punishments which lay in wait if they failed their mistress once again. They would not repeat it.
