On an frozen lake stood Roultz with arms crossed as his jacket blew madly in the icy wind and he doesn’t shudder or flinch when the cold touches his skin.

He starts thinking back on the last few days; Tahran had offered jobs to Red Sam, Nanewral, Raggs, Harold and Tiffany to help him take down Dolaroc and they agreed soon became employees of Shadō, Andree’a was soon back on her feet and was now taking heavy part in taking down Dolaroc, Lian had been trying to get in contact with the rebellion but she has been getting no response and that was worrying her while Tahran had decided to train Roultz so he can become just as powerful as him and Dolaroc while learning to control the power inside of him.

“You ready?” He heard and he looked up and saw Tahran standing there as his long coat blew madly in the wind.

“Well if my aura is different than that a normal Hybrid and you said you can help me control what Dolaroc did to me than bring it.” Roultz said drawing his sword and Tahran looked at it.

“Another way to see that you don’t have full control and have unlocked your aura is that your Souruburēdo’s chain is still visible.” Tahran said now looking up at Roultz who looked at him confused.

“A what?”

“A Souruburēdo is a cursed sword that some people have bound to their soul and they can both be a great thing and a, what I just said, a curse.” Tahran said explaining about Roultz’s sword and Roultz looked down at it.

“Dolaroc gave me it and it bound itself to my soul and I take it will stay bound to me for a long time.” Roultz said as he stared at the blade before looking at his father.

“Not exactly, there is a way to remove it, destroy the thing that gave it to you.” Tahran said as Roultz stared hard at him.

“Kill Dolaroc and the Souruburēdo will no longer be bound to me in other words?” Roultz asked already knowing the answer to that question.

“Exactly he was the one that gave you it so thus ending his life will free you from its bound.” Tahran said and Roultz liked that answer seeing in the end it was all still the same for him kill Dolaroc.

“Good than let’s get started than.” Roultz said getting into a fighting stance, but growled a bit when Tahran put a hand up.

“Hold on there is a few things about the Souruburēdo that you need to know,” Tahran said not done explaining about the Souruburēdo. “It can channel your aura through it allowing a usually defensive thing become an offensive weapon and also when mastering it,” He said as brings his right hand up and a black sword soon metalizes in his hand. “The chain that binds you to it will no longer be visible and you can dis-summon the sword and bring it out when you need to and that’s what we’re going to work on.”

“Then bring it old man.” Roultz said this time ready to fight.

“A few thousand years isn’t that old you little punk.” Tahran said as he got into a ready stance before both father and son charge each other starting their training.

Lian stands there trying to raise anyone on her phone and this was the 17th attempt seeing she hasn’t heard anything for the past few days and she was worried.

“Damnit!” She spat as she heard nothing once again and threw her phone away as she scowled showing she was getting angry that no one from the rebellion was answering her calls.

“You being angry is never a good sign.” Lian heard and she remembered she was in the gym part of the building and she saw Tiffany lying down on one of the benches bench-pressing a weigh.

“Sorry it’s just none of the contacts have answered my calls and I can’t even activate one of their tracers to find them,” Lian said as she sighs while sitting down on a nearby bench wearing her workout clothes seeing she and Tiffany were originally doing workouts, but Lian wanted to get in contact with the rebellion. “I have a bad feeling about all of this.”

“You worry too much you know that right?’ Tiffany asked sarcastically seeing she knew what Lian’s answer was going to be.

“It’s because no one else seems to be interested in something else at the moment.” Lian said noticing that some of her new ‘friends’ have been interested in other things.

“Because Dolaroc had hurt more than just Roultz and Tahran,” Lian said still doing her workout. “Red Sam was captured and raped by Selene who works for Dolaroc so getting to him will allow Red to get to her as well, Nanewral has been searching for someone who had betrayed him and took something precious to him and Raggs told me that Dolaroc had done wrong to his pack.” She said finishing her workout and puts the weight up on the hooks and pulls herself up into a sitting position.

“Why does everyone must follow their quest of revenge?” Lian asked annoyed on how it seems everyone around is consumed by their thirst of revenge.

“It’s because of Dolaroc’s evil.” A voice sounded and both Lian and Tiffany looked over the side of the gym and saw Andree’a hanging upside down doing sits up.

“But if they get consum-” Lian was going to say, but she was cut off when Andree’a did one sit up and leap out of her upside down position and did a back flip to land right in front of Lian.

“They would become monsters if they were consumed by their revenge. Correct?” Andree’a said leaning her face into Lian’s who leans back onto the bench she was on.

“Y-yes.” Lian said stuttering only a bit as she was a bit caught off guard by Andree’a’s approach and she had to admit she was a bit surprised by it.

Andree’a stands up straight crossing her arms under her breasts and scowled down at Lian who was now intimidated by how Andree’a who was one of the kindest women she had ever met had this scary serious side to her.

“Have you ever seen what a Doln-Kal can do?” She asked seriously and didn’t give Lian a chance to answer as turns her back to Lian and walks forward 3 steps before stopping. “Unlike my kind they kill for pleasure, they have no souls in them, no mercy, no regrets…no emotions.” She said seriously almost growling in anger.

“But they’re living things too.” Lian said quietly a bit seeing she was a bit scared of Andree’a due to her seriousness.

“No,” Andree’a simply said confusing Lian and she turned around a bit to look at Lian over her shoulder with a serious look. “The Doln-Kal gave up their livingness and humanity to open that portal and commenced The Purge.” She said growling as the memories from all those years ago flash into her head as she remembered that day very well.

“Oh my.” Lian said surprised by how Andree’a reacted as she could clearly see and sense the anger that came off her like a tidal wave that would destroy anything that got in its way.

“Sometimes revenge can help…by controlling it and not let it control you,” She said to Lian lowering her voice a bit as she calmed down a bit. “Like my husband did and is teaching my son to do. Tahran had accepted his revenge and learned to control it by having be one with him and not let it consume his mind. The same can happen with my son too.” She said explaining why her family are fuelled by revenge on Dolaroc for what he did to them.

Lian was speechless as she never thought like that or saw revenge like that and she started thinking like Tahran and Roultz so she can see why they use revenge as their strength for their battle that will come with Dolaroc in the future.

“I see,” Lian said now starting to understand what Andree’a said to her. “Tahran is trying to stop his son from going the path of revenge that will consume Roultz and turn him into a monster and Roultz will never be able to leave that path.” Lian said now looking up at Andree’a who nods at that.

“In that case…my lady will you…train me?” Lian asked Andree’a who raised any eyebrow of interest at that. “I wish to get stronger so I can help Roultz all the way and make sure he never forgets what his father will teach him and save him the dark path.” She explained why she asked the female Hybrid to be trained by her.

Andree’a smirks and walks over to Lian and lies a hand on Lian’s shoulder. “I will train you so my son knows that he has a strong woman by his side all the way with him to the end.” She said smiling at Lian who smiles back at her as she nods.

Tiffany was wiping herself clean of the sweat she got from her workout and she decided to leave to give Lian and Andree’a sometime to themselves and head for the exit of the room.

“Hold on a sec,” She heard Andree’a say and felt her hand grab her shoulder stopping her from leaving. “Lian needs a sparring partner and I can’t think of anyone better than a ex-Hunter like you.”

Tiffany turns a bit to look at Andree’a and saw Lian standing be her side and Andree’a gave her a look of a challenge knowing how to get Tiffany to agree seeing Tiffany loves a challenge.

“Sure it could help me to get stronger and better too so I can kill Dolaroc and hopefully get the Hunters to see the truth.” Tiffany said nodding her head in agreement and Andree’a smirks at that.

“Good I can already tell this is going to be interesting.”

“You sure about this?” Dolaroc asked sitting at his desk looking at Haryn who was standing there arms cross.

“Yes Tahran has come out of hiding and met up with Roultz meaning Roultz won’t be fooled by you anymore.” Haryn said informing Tahran of what had happened and Dolaroc narrowed his brows and tapped his finger on the desk.

“Send word to our allies that we need to up our defences and be prepared for a war between us and Shadō seeing now that father and son are reunited again.” He ordered the Hybrid that represented Pride out of the 7.

“Understood.” Haryn said walking backwards into the shadows of the room Shadow Jumping away to fulfil his order.

Dolaroc stood up from his chair and walked to the side of the room staring at a case with a black sword and armour in it.

“So Tahran with your involvement in this war now it looks like I need to participate myself too,” He said pressing a few buttons on a keypad next to the case opening the case for him. “It’s been a while since I last joined a fight.” He said smirking and chuckled evilly.
